Busan Successfully Hosts the ‘2024 Outstanding Startup Press Day’

Busan recently held the ‘2024 Outstanding Startup Press Day’, a showcase event highlighting high-growth potential startups. Organized by the Research & Development Special Zone Foundation and co-hosted by Busan Technopark and Dream Ventures, the event successfully concluded with a strong focus on cutting-edge technology startups in the logistics, mobility, data, robotics, and coffee industries.
The participating companies were part of the Ministry of Science and ICT’s “Technology Innovation Platform Project”, featuring five blockchain-based smart logistics companies.

Locus Korea (CEO Lee Jun-Hyun) – AI-Powered Logistics & Distribution
- Showcased a “Distribution & Logistics AtoZ Solution” powered by generative AI.
- Aims to simplify complex logistics for small-scale distributors and logistics providers.
- Business Model: Positioning itself as the “Airbnb of Logistics.”
MobilityLab (CEO Cheon Il-Jun) – Swarm Autonomous Drone Agriculture
- Introduced swarm autonomous flight technology for large-scale agricultural spraying.
- Plans to provide cost-effective crop protection services using multiple drones over vast farmland.
- Business Expansion: Exploring applications in military drone operations.
BlueLiance (CEO Ji Hwan-Kook) – Data-Driven Financial Solutions
