A Platform for Promoting Startups and Investor Engagement

This competition was jointly organized by the Gyeongnam Regional Small and Medium Business Administration, Gyeongsangnam-do, the Gyeongsang National University Startup Hub, and the Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center. It aims to revitalize the local startup ecosystem and discover promising early-stage companies.

Gyeongsangnam-do actively supports the Preliminary Startup Package program to foster startup ecosystem development. The province also played a key role in ensuring that participating startups had the opportunity to connect with investors and attract funding through this IR competition.

A total of 12 companies (six from the Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center and six from the Gyeongsang National University Startup Hub) were selected through a document review process. These companies participated in an orientation on October 10 and received one month of consulting on investment attraction roadmaps.

Continued Support for Winning Startups

The Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center plans to provide IR (investment proposal) material development support to the winning companies to further strengthen their investment readiness.

Jang Seong-Man, Acting Director of the Innovation Center, stated:
“We will continue our efforts to promote the startup ecosystem and discover innovative startups. By actively collaborating with Gyeongsangnam-do, we aim to accelerate the growth of the regional startup community and help local startups achieve long-term success.”
